UPDATE: Highway 3 reopens after multiple crashes near Princeton

Snow has caused adverse winter conditions on Highway 3

Update: 11:30 a.m.

Highway 3 has reopened after being closed in both directions west of Princeton between Kennedy Lake Road and Frontage Road. Multiple crashes in the area caused the closure.

Expect some delays as the congestion clears. Commercial vehicles are advised to utilize chains.

As of 9 a.m., Highway 3 is closed in both directions west of Princeton between Kennedy Lake Road and Frontage Road, due to multiple vehicle incidents.

Highway 3 was experiencing significant eastbound delays near the Mine Hill brake check west of Princeton due to the adverse driving conditions, said DriveBC.

Slippery conditions caused by snow that has been falling on the highway through the night and this morning.

Crews are on scene and an assessment is in progress. DriveBC didnsa国际传媒檛 give a timeline for when the next update will be.
