Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) have joined West Kelowna RCMP in looking for Stephanie Woodcock, 40.

On Thursday (Sept 19), around 25 COSAR members on the ground and boats from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. were looking for the Port Alberni woman, scouring the Antlers Beach Regional Park area in Peachland. They also had a dog searching and were using a drone. 

"We searched local linear features, trails, canvassed neighbours, searched along the beach, and into the lake," said COSAR's Michael Day. "Anything that we found or gathered was passed on to RCMP."

Woodcock who hasn't been in contact with her family since Sept. 1, but it believed she was in the area of Antlers Beach in Peachland on Sept. 3.

She is described as Caucasian with light brown and blonde curly hair, possibly shaved on the sides. She has nose rings, stands about five foot eight, is 126 pounds and has blue eyes. 

The woman's vehicle, a 2009 GMC Yukon and outfitted to live in, was spotted at Antlers Beach on Sept. 3 with a woman fitting Woodcock's description. The vehicle has since been reported abandoned and was impounded.
