Luckily the rain held off as Kelowna residents paid their respects at the annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the City Park Cenotaph.
More than a thousand people were in attendance as people lined up downtown as the ceremony started with a parade that made itsa国际传媒檚 way to the park.
As everyone made their way to the Cenotaph, the crowd sung O Canada, and listened to a rendition of The Last Post followed by a moment of silence. Soon after, many wreaths and poppies were placed at the Cenotaph.

Remembrance Day ceremonies took place all over the Central Okanagan including City Park, Lions Park in Rutland, Lake Countrysa国际传媒檚 George Elliot Secondary School, West Kelownasa国际传媒檚 Royal LePage Place and Westbank Lions Community Centre as well as the Peachland Cenotaph.
