Pedestrian struck in downtown Kelowna transported to hospital

A pedestrian is being transported to local hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Kelowna on Wednesday morning, Sept. 18.

The incident happened just after 10 a.m. at the intersection of Water Street and Leon Avenue. 

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating.
