Brock Noseworthy will always retain his youth.

The Chemainus resident was born during a leap year in 1964 on Feb. 29 so hesa国际传媒檚 technically only had 15 actual birthdays, but is going on 60. This year being another leap year, it gives Noseworthy the rare chance to mark the occasion on his actual birthday Thursday.

Noseworthy said he never felt ripped off by not having his true birthday every year.

sa国际传媒淎ll my life people said, sa国际传媒榙o you celebrate it on the 28th or March 1st?sa国际传媒檚a国际传媒� he acknowledged.

The answer is either one and sa国际传媒渟ometimes nothing,sa国际传媒� Noseworthy added. sa国际传媒淲henever it did land on a leap year, Isa国际传媒檇 make up for it.sa国际传媒�

More than anything else, sa国际传媒渋tsa国际传媒檚 always a conversation piece,sa国际传媒� he indicated.

Born in Montreal, Noseworthy has lived in a variety of places before coming to Chemainus 12 years ago.

Being at hugely different points of the age spectrum, he doesnsa国际传媒檛 have any big plans for this yearsa国际传媒檚 birthday.
