No bones about it, Halloween is around the corner and one telltale sign can be found every year on the front lawn of a Trout Creek home in Summerland.

The Peskelly skeleton family is already back to their daily shenanigans, from becoming the neighbourhood watch, to hanging out of the windows to enjoying a sit down turkey dinner.

People from all around Summerland and Penticton look forward to seeing what the Peskelly skeletons are up to each day of October.

Itsa国际传媒檚 the best time of the year if you ask the Queen of Halloween Heather Pescada who has been putting out the skeleton family display for over five years now.

Students from the nearby Trout Creek Elementary do regular walk-bys as do the preschool students at the school.

One parent who lives a distance away said her young son is crazy for the Peskelly skeletons and she has to drive almost daily to pay them a visit.

Most recently they went and got a massage at the Summerland Health and Wellness Centre where Slim enjoyed his skull massage so much, his eyes rolled back in his head, said Pescada.

Slim and Bonita Peskelly also went to their local Crick Coffee Shop at Summerland Heritage Cidery.

Not only are the Pescadas known for their skeletons, they are also known for having a huge display on Halloween night, Oct. 31.

Trout Creek is the hot spot for trick or treaters.

Last Halloween, Pascada had more than 700 trick or treaters to her door. Thatsa国际传媒檚 a lot of candy but donsa国际传媒檛 worry Pescada says she is prepared.

Last year, Pescada brought all her spooky Halloween magic onto the Summerland KVR steam train turning it into the Harry Potter themed Sorcery Express. But Pescada didnsa国际传媒檛 stop there for the Summerland Secondary dry grad fundraiser. She turned the train station into Alchemist Alley, the Wicked Woods and the Putrid Pumpkin Patch akin to something out of Disneyland.
