Itsa国际传媒檚 the battle of dogs versus cats and it all goes down this weekend during the annual Bubba Open golf tournament.

The fundraising event looks to bring together animal lovers each summer to tee off in support of AlleyCats Alliance and Paws it Forward.

There are 144 golfers registered for the 13th annual Bubba Open, which includes an online auction and a unique challenge.

The challenge comes after an anonymous dog lover donated $5,000 at last yearsa国际传媒檚 event for Paws it Forward. Now, this year cat adorers are being challenged to beat the $5,000 donation with a larger single amount. It will be a great challenge to prove once and for all sa国际传媒渃ats rule and dogs drool.sa国际传媒�

The shotgun start event takes place at Sunset Ranch on July 8 at 1 p.m.
