Itsa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™s kind of hard to address the problem (Overdose rate climbing in the Okanagan) when friends and family would rather sit on their hands and not use tough love to get their loved one the help they need. Not sure if itsa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™s a lackadaisical attitude or lack of spine, but every person that ODsa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™d had someone in their circle who knew they were taking drugs, and someone else who introduced them to it.

So, what is it? You donsa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™t care? You donsa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™t want to be the person that steps up? Yousa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™re worried about being the sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½˜bad guysa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™ for doing the right thing? You donsa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™t think itsa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™s your business to say anything?

Then guess what? Your loved one is playing Russian Roulette, and itsa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™s just a matter of time until you get the call.
