A Vernon bride-to-be in August is helping her bridesmaid in the wake of tragedy.

Michelle Blake lost her son Solomon, who died at only 17, and now Kim Osa国际传媒橬eill is rallying the community to help Blake and Solomonsa国际传媒檚 dad, Corey Holbrooke.

sa国际传媒淭hey need help to put the funds together to cremate their beloved son and hold a celebration of life for him so they and Solomonsa国际传媒檚 five siblings (Desmond, Milla, Indiana, Atlas, Bodhi) can celebrate Solomonsa国际传媒檚 life and hopefully find some peace,sa国际传媒 wrote McNeill on a she started for Blake.

McNeill called Blake sa国际传媒渁n amazing momsa国际传媒 and that she is trying so hard to stay strong.

One of her other children, said McNeill, has a disability and receives care at an epilepsy clinic in Vancouver.

sa国际传媒淭here is so much on this momsa国际传媒檚 plate right that anything that can be done to help would be a blessing,sa国际传媒 said McNeill.

The GoFundMe campaign has raised $3,100 toward an $8,000 goal as of Thursday morning, July 20.
