A serious crash has closed Highway 3 just east of Keremeos.
The highway is closed in both directions with no estimated time for reopening.
"First responders have attended a serious motor vehicle collision between Keremeos and Daly Drive," said Insp. Chad Badry with the BC Highway Patrol. "Keremeos RCMP are currently investigating with the assistance of BC Highway Patrol."
No further information is being shared at this time, Badry stated.
According to residents posting on social media, one of the vehicles involved was a semi-truck.
It is not currently known how serious or how many individuals were injured in the crash.
Drivers are being advised to take a detour along Daly Drive and Upper Bench Road between Highway 3 and Highway 3A to bypass the scene.
