All ferry sailings to and from Nanaimosa国际传媒檚 Departure Bay on Monday were cancelled due to rough seas, and more cancellations followed on Tuesday.
B.C. Ferries issued a service notice in the late morning on Monday, Nov. 7, advising that it was cancelling all sailings between Departure Bay and Horseshoe Bay for the rest of the day due to sa国际传媒渁dverse weather conditions.sa国际传媒
A social media post from B.C. Ferries noted that sa国际传媒渢he current sea state and high winds have made sailing from Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay today unsafe.sa国际传媒
There were also cancellations affecting the Horseshoe Bay-Langdale route.
The ferry company issued more service notices Monday night advising that the first two round-trips of the day between Departure Bay and Horseshoe Bay on Tuesday, Nov. 8, were cancelled. Service will resume on the route at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday.
