No overnight changes to wildfire south of Princeton

Evacuation alerts remain in place for the Calcite Creek fire south of Princeton. 

Areas on alert include Eastgate, Pasayten Area, and Placer in electoral area H. 

The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen continues to offer support with an emergency operations centre that was set up Thursday, July 18. 

BC Wildfire Service has not updated the fire information page since July 20. The last estimated size was 405 hectares. 

The blaze was caused by lightning.
