Motorcyclist airlifted from Lumby crash

Unconscious driver found on the side of the road

An air ambulance was needed to lift a motorcycle driver from Lumby Tuesday, July 23.

The single vehicle crash took place around 3:40 p.m. in the 800-block of Lumby Mabel Lake Road. 

"A member of the public was travelling on the road when they came across the motorcycle and unconscious rider off the shoulder of the road," said Const. Chris Terleski, media relations officer. 

The person called 911 and the rider was airlifted from the scene to the hospital. 

"The motorcycle was travelling alone and itsa国际传媒檚 unknown at this time what led to the collision," said Terleski.
