UPDATE: Highway 1 east of Revelstoke cleared following motorcycle crash

Travellers can expect major delays on Highway 1 east of Revelstoke on Thursday night due to a vehicle crash.

The crash has been cleared, according to DriveBC. Major delays are still expected.

Travellers can expect major delays on Highway 1 due to a vehicle crash just east of Revelstoke on Thursday night (Aug. 15).

The crash happened around 3:20 p.m. between Oak Drive and Greely Road.

According to Revelstoke Fire Rescue Services, the crash was between a vehicle and a motorcycle. The motorcycle was on fire about the crash.

It's unknown at this time if anyone was injured.

Traffic is currently single-lane alternating on the highway. Because of this, drivers can expect major delays.
