Someone may have taken baby goat snuggles too far.

The owners of Yellow Point Farms south of Nanaimo allege that one of their baby goats, just 12 days old, was stolen on Saturday during a baby goat snuggles program at their farm.

But after looking for hours and hours, there really is no other explanation. Theresa国际传媒檚 no sign of him. There couldnsa国际传媒檛 have been predators because there was so many people.sa国际传媒�

The is exactly what it sounds like, a chance to sa国际传媒渉old and snuggle the baby goats to heartsa国际传媒檚 content.sa国际传媒�

Rebecca and Justin Dault said Saturdaysa国际传媒檚 baby goat snuggles was one of their most well-attended yet, with about 50 people there, mostly families, between 1-3 p.m. Many of those who attended have sent photos to help the Daults pin down the time the goat could have been taken, perhaps 1:30-2 p.m.

Justin said he looked for four hours yesterday and throughout the day today.

sa国际传媒淚tsa国际传媒檚 kind of like kidnapping. We feel violated. We couldnsa国际传媒檛 even sleep last night over it,sa国际传媒� he said.

He said that at the baby goat snuggling and goat yoga programs, visitors to the farm commonly joke about sa国际传媒榢id-napping.sa国际传媒�

sa国际传媒淧eople always joke about, sa国际传媒榦h, Isa国际传媒檓 taking this goat homesa国际传媒� or sa国际传媒業sa国际传媒檓 keeping this goatsa国际传媒� and fake like theysa国际传媒檙e smuggling one out,sa国际传媒� he said. sa国际传媒淚tsa国际传媒檚 all fun and jokes, but someone took it too far and actually did.sa国际传媒�

He said hesa国际传媒檚 considering setting up a security camera in future, but the couple arensa国际传媒檛 even certain they want to continue with the snuggle program.

sa国际传媒淚ts mom is crying. Shesa国际传媒檚 been crying ever since; shesa国际传媒檚 looking for him, and if he was stuck somewhere, hesa国际传媒檇 be crying too,sa国际传媒� Rebecca said.

She said the photos donsa国际传媒檛 quite get across how small the baby goat is; she estimates five pounds. The allegedly stolen goat has sa国际传媒渧ery rare colouring,sa国际传媒� Rebecca said, gold with sa国际传媒渕oonspotssa国际传媒� and blue eyes. She said with such distinctive colouring, no one will be able to sell the goat. She said the baby goat needs its mamasa国际传媒檚 milk.

sa国际传媒淯nless someone was well-versed in raising goats and bought powdered goat milk replacer or something, itsa国际传媒檚 not going to survive. Itsa国际传媒檚 not weaned. Itsa国际传媒檚 only 12 days old. It needs it till eight weeks. Itsa国际传媒檚 going to have to be force-fed to learn a bottle,sa国际传媒� she said. sa国际传媒淚tsa国际传媒檚 pretty tough for it to survive without that, or a very experienced goat owner.sa国际传媒�

The farm owners say they wonsa国际传媒檛 ask any questions if someone returns the goat to their front pasture.
