UPDATE: Multiple Kelowna restaurants close after COVID-19 exposures

Several restaurants have announced closures due to recent COVID exposures

UPDATE: 5:23 p.m.

Mount Boucherie Winery and The Modest Butcher will also be closed to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The winery announced that a staff member had tested positive for COVID-19 and it will be closed until further notice. For now, the restaurant is planning to open Thursday, July 29.

Two other Kelowna restaurants have announced closures in an effort to help curb the spread of COVID-19 in the downtown area.

BNA Brewing Co. & Eatery announced that staff will assess the situation in the next few days.

The Train Station Pub and Mid-Town Station Kitchen + Drink also announced they will be closed for the time being.

Three Kelowna restaurants are closing for the next few days as staff deal with COVID-19 exposures.

Central Kitchen + Bar posted on social media that the restaurant will be closed from July 26 to 30 after several staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

The owners said they wanted to be transparent with the community about the situation.

Rustysa国际传媒檚 Sports Lounge announced it would be voluntarily closing following a COVID exposure. While Interior Health did not order the closure, the bar said it chose to close to curb further transmission.

The Kelowna Yacht Club is also closing its memberssa国际传媒 lounge following exposure, the club announced in a posted to its website on Sunday. The club does not give a date for the loungesa国际传媒檚 reopening, only stating it will remain closed until further notice.

The exposures come after news of a COVID-19 cluster at Gotham nightclub over the weekend.
