All residents are safe after a home on Kelownasa国际传媒檚 Shetland Drive went up in flames early Sunday (May 26).
Kelowna firefighters were dispatched to the 3100-block of Shetland Drive at approximately 6:30 a.m.
Smoke and flames were visible from the rear of the home upon arrival.
Crews knocked the blaze down quickly and continued to work on hot spots in the structuresa国际传媒檚 roof.
The fire is not suspicious in nature and is under investigation.
Working smoke alarms in the home are credited for alerting the residents and allowing them time to exit safely.
