So many events to feel festive this weekend in South Okanagan

Sip back in time aboard the SS Sicamous, take in Oliversa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™s Light Up and Naramatasa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™s Winter Wine Fest

Sip Back in Time

Sip Back in Time aboard the SS Sicamous with their A Taste of Harvest fundraising event Saturday, Nov. 25.

Sample different beer, cider and liquors from local vendors.

For $60 you receive nine tastings, a complimentary sipping glass and a charcuterie treat made by Tonysa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™s Meats & Deli.

Wander the boat between 1 to 4 p.m and enjoy the musical ukulele cover tunes stylings of Yanti.

Check out the silent auction for various items including Vees seasons tickets.

The SS Sicamous is a historical treasure now docked on the shores of Okanagan Lake. It operated up and down Lake Okanagan during the early part of the 20th century and in keeping with that sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½“ feel free to don your 1920s fashion or just keep it casual and enjoy the day.

Naramata Winter Wine Fest

The very first Naramata Bench Wine Fest is set to happen.

Fourteen Naramata wineries/distilleries/cideries, will be lit up with fun festivities of wine tasting, mulled cider, ssa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™mores roasting, paired tastings, and pulled pork sandwiches to eat and more on Nov. 24 and 25, from 3 to 7 p.m.,

Each location will offer different and fun festivities to partake in.

Oliver Light Up

Oliver is getting into the holiday spirit starting with their annual Light Up taking place on Friday, Nov. 24.

Itsa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™s an evening filled with holiday fun, beginning at 5 p.m. where people can re-discover downtown Oliver. Visit local businesses and enjoy holiday specials and holiday cheer. At 6 p.m., head over to the town hall to get ready for the official light up ceremony.

Also at 6 p.m. is when Santa arrives. The OES Choir performs at 6:15 p.m. and then at 6:30 p.m. the official countdown to light up.

After the light up, work your way back through downtown towards Lionsa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½™s Park. Enjoy the light tunnel, artisan market, food trucks and the bonfire.

Stick around for the fireworks at 8 p.m.

Summerland Light Up Festival

The Summerland Light Up Festival, organized by the Summerland Chamber of Commerce, will be held Friday, Nov. 24 from 5 to 9 p.m. in downtown Summerland. Thousands of festival goers from Summerland and beyond are expected at the event.

Around 50 vendors will have booths set up in downtown Summerland during the festival. A beverage garden will also be set up for the event.

A fireworks display will take place at 8:30 p.m.
