Parks Canada is spreading the love of the outdoors with the Learn-to Camp program.

In partnership with Okanagan College, Kamloops Immigrant Services and Kelowna Community Resources, the program is supporting 50 new Canadians in learning outdoor safety and camping skills.

Participants are coming from the Kamloops and Kelowna areas to camp at Loop Brook in Glacier National Park from June 21-23.

The programs help connect newcomers to the Canadian experience while introducing families to new experiences.
