A 2018 23-foot Bennington tritoon boat was stolen in Kelowna overnight between July 16-17, 2024.

Kelowna RCMP are asking the public's help in tracking down a pontoon boat that was stolen overnight between July 16 and 17.

The boat was taken from the 2000-block of Lakeshore Road.

The owner reported the theft to police at 6 a.m. July 17 stating he had last seen the pontoon at 8 p.m. on July 16.

The boat is a 2018 white and brown 23 foot Bennington tritoon boat with a white 200hp Evinrude outboard motor.

Police are currently canvassing for CCTV. Anyone with cameras at local boat launches are asked to check the footage for suspicious behavior.

RCMP said they are unsure if the boat was taken elsewhere or removed from the water locally.

Anyone with information related to the theft or who knows the location of the vessel is asked to call Kelowna RCMP with file number 2024-40274.
