North American auto repair chain CARSTAR opened the doors of its new Kelowna location on July 6.

The auto shop used its grand opening as a starting point for giving back to the community with a charity car wash in support of the Kelowna Minor Football Association and Cystic Fibrosis Canada. 

Members of minor football joined the auto team to wash cars at the new CARSTAR location on Leathead Road.

Over $2,000 was raised for the two organizations.
