Pathways Abilities Society's executive director has announced plans to retire in 2025. 

Charisse Daley said the job was the best she's ever had after working with the organization for the past 22 years. 

Pathways is the overseer of Hadgraft Wilson Place, a low-income apartment in downtown Kelowna that saw residents evacuated in April when structural damage made the building unsafe for occupation. 

Daley said her plans for retirement were already in the works, but delayed the decision to help the residents of Hadgraft. 

In her time with Pathways, Daley assisted with the redevelopment of a property the society has occupied for over 50 years, helped build measures for long-term sustainability, and navigated the global pandemic as an essential service.
