Central Okanagan students were up to the challenge on Saturday, as they competed in the annual First LEGO League sa国际传媒楳asterpiecesa国际传媒 regional qualifying tournament.
On Feb. 10 at UBCOsa国际传媒檚 Engineering, Education, and Management Building, 13 teams totalling around 75 kids aged 9 to 16 from Kelowna, Lake Country, and Vernon competed in the event.
Central students are taking part in the First Lego Masterpiece tournament on UBCOsa国际传媒檚 campus throughout the day on Saturday.

For this yearsa国际传媒檚 challenge, students had to research, explore, and create innovative prototype situations for real-world problems in the world of art, technology, and hobbies. Additionally, teams were to build a robot that was to complete missions in a timely fashion while also finding a way to improve the audiencesa国际传媒檚 experience watching their creation.
