Hundreds of Southern Interior residents turned up for the Jagmeet Singh rally in Penticton on Oct. 19, and the messaging was from the NDP leader was clear - he is ready to represent the nationsa国际传媒檚 middle class.

The event took place in the South Okanagan - West Kootenay riding to endorse local candidate and incumbent Richard Cannings. According to recent polls by 338Canada, the riding is in a dead heat between the NDP and the Conservative Party.

Joan Phillips, the NDP candidate in the Central Okanagansa国际传媒揝imilkameensa国际传媒揘icola riding, Justin Kulik, the NDP candidate in the Kelownasa国际传媒揕ake Country riding, and Harwinder Sandhu, the NDP candidate in North Okanagan sa国际传媒 Shuswap riding were also in attendance on Saturday night.

He took aim at the sa国际传媒渞ichest Canadians and mega corporations who need to start paying their fair share,sa国际传媒 outlined his plan to make sa国际传媒渕eaningful reconciliation with the countries first peoplesa国际传媒 and discussed the need for sa国际传媒渞eal climate action.sa国际传媒

Singh also broke down the rhetoric that the choice in this election is between the Liberal Party and Conservative Party, saying these parties donsa国际传媒檛 own residents votes and they sa国际传媒渃an demand more from these parties because they donsa国际传媒檛 own this country.sa国际传媒

He finished by summarizing what his entire campaign has been about, stating he sa国际传媒渃hooses yousa国际传媒 over the wealthy residents and big corporations.
