The members of the embattled rock band Hedley say they have withdrawn from consideration for three awards at this yearsa国际传媒檚 Junos and plan to sa国际传媒渢alk about how we have let some people down, and what we intend to do about it.sa国际传媒

Last week, the pop-rockers were dropped by their management team and blacklisted by scores of radio stations in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations that had been circulated by anonymous social media users.

In a statement released today, the band says it wonsa国际传媒檛 be cancelling 23 shows it has booked through March 23 because sa国际传媒渢he easy thing to do would be to cancel the tour and hide.sa国际传媒

The statement adds the band intends sa国际传媒渢o start making positive changes, starting right now.sa国际传媒

The former MuchMusic darlings sa国际传媒 fronted by Jacob Hoggard and including Dave Rosin, Tommy Mac and Jay Benison sa国际传媒 released a statement last Wednesday calling the allegations involving young fans sa国际传媒渦nsubstantiatedsa国际传媒 but acknowledged they sa国际传媒渆ngaged in a lifestyle that incorporated certain rock sa国际传媒榥sa国际传媒 roll cliches.sa国际传媒

The two acts who were booked as openers for Hedleysa国际传媒檚 current tour sa国际传媒 Neon Dreams and Shawn Hook sa国际传媒 both announced Friday that they were backing out of the rest of the shows.
