Are you seeking an organization where you can make a meaningful contribution to your community? Consider joining the St. John Ambulance volunteer brigade. We specialize in providing advanced first aid and healthcare services at community events, and wesa国际传媒檙e also integral members of local disaster response teams.

We welcome individuals over the age of 18 who possess at least a standard First Aid/AED level sa国际传媒淐sa国际传媒 certification. You should have a strong passion for providing first aid and the physical and mental capacity to assist injured or ill patients. For those aged 16 through 18 parental or guardian approval is required.

As a volunteer, yousa国际传媒檒l benefit from comprehensive training in advanced first aid techniques, including spinal care, respiratory management, and the administration of Naloxone. Yousa国际传媒檒l have the opportunity to work alongside like-minded community members with diverse skills, interests, and experiences.

Whether itsa国际传媒檚 assisting at local community events, supporting wildfire evacuation centres, or actively participating in the COVID-19 pandemic response, my training has equipped me to ensure the safety and well- being of those in need. Through this experience, Isa国际传媒檝e not only prepared myself to pursue the field of paramedicine but also developed a deep sense of fulfillment from serving others in times of distresssa国际传媒.

We understand that your time is valuable, so our volunteer scheduling is flexible, allowing you to participate based on your availability. Upon joining, yousa国际传媒檒l be assigned a mentor to guide you through your initial volunteering experiences, ensuring both your success and the success of our organization. To maintain membership, you`ll be expected to complete 30 hours of training and 30 hours of volunteering annually.
