RCMP Cst. Kerri Parish and her kids Mitchell and Jake are gearing up to light up Lake Countrysa国际传媒檚 star.

The family is asking the community to come and donate non-perishable food items for the Lake Country Food Bank and the annual Cram the Cruiser event.

Join the Parish family at 4 p.m. on Dec. 1 at Apex Park to light the star on Spion Kop Mountain.

Mitchell and Jake started the Lake Country Star initiative in December 2020 to shine a light of hope over the community. They have also created 3D printed ornaments of the star which can be picked up at the food bank when you donate a toy or a minimum of $10.

Cram the Cruiser will take place the following day.

sa国际传媒淭his is just an excellent example of the community spirit, involvement and dedication our officers and their families show in the community of Lake Country and every other community served by members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police,sa国际传媒 said Cpl.
