Westjet offers overnight flight between Kelowna and Toronto.

The first WestJet sa国际传媒渞edeyesa国际传媒 flight from Kelowna International Airport (YLW) to Torontosa国际传媒檚 Pearson International Airport (YYZ) has taken off.

The debut flight left YLW at 12:05 a.m. Friday, and landed in Toronto at 7:15 a.m. Eastern time, allowing passengers to connect with more than 180 WestJet-operated and airline partner flights to destinations around the globe, including over 55 daily destinations throughout eastern Canada, the United States and Europe.

The Westjet night flight is the second daily connection between Kelowna to Toronto offered by WestJet.

Westjet has been flying out of Kelowna for the last 21 years.

As the 11 busiest airport in Canada handling 1.7 million passengers last year, YLW offers more than 60 daily non-stop commercial flights with seven airline partners to Canadian, U.S. and sun-spot destinations.

The airport has an estimated economic impact of $789 million and is responsible directly and indirectly for an estimated 4,545 jobs.
